JESUS THOUGHT OF YOU...YES, YOU!

Do you think you are insignificant?

Do you think that no one cares about you?

Do you think that you are not worth someone sacrificing themselves to see you live?

Well you are WRONG! Sorry if that is blunt, but when you see why I say that you might realize why I am passionate about YOU (point at yourself to know I'm FOR SURE talking about you) coming to the understanding that you were thought of over 2000 years ago.

When Jesus Christ was put on the cross that would eventually kill him, he was feeling pain from what was happening to him, but the weight of the world's sin. During those dark moments for Jesus, in his mind he could see YOUR FACE. He knew exactly who he was dying for. YOU.

He wanted to give you LIFE.

He wanted to give you LIFE ABUNDANT.

He wanted to give you a LIFE BEYOND THIS WORLD.

Thank goodness it didn't just end with that sacrificial death. I love the thought that Jesus "borrowed" the grave he was buried in because he didn't need it for very long. Three days later, Jesus - the same one that thought of YOU while dying - walked out of that tomb. The resurrected Jesus proved once and for all God wins!

And he did that because he couldn't imagine heaven without YOU!

This was all put on my heart this morning when I was praying and I hope it's a word for someone today. That you see how SIGNIFICANT you are. That you are NOT alone. And that YOU ARE WORTHY of a sacrificial love.
